PREMADE ENGINEERED HARDWOOD STAIR SET

Premade engineered hardwood stair set are a stylish and durable option for upgrading stairs. They provide the beauty of real wood with the stability and cost-effectiveness of engineered construction.

What Is an Engineered Hardwood Stair Set?

Engineered hardwood stair sets consist of a real hardwood veneer on top of a plywood or high-density fiberboard (HDF) core. They are designed to resist warping and expansion, making them a great choice for both humid and dry environments.

Components of a Premade Engineered Hardwood Stair Set:

    1. Treads – The horizontal step surface. Pre-made treads come with finished edges and built-in nosing for a seamless look.
    2. Risers – The vertical face between steps. Often made of engineered wood or veneered plywood.
    3. Nosing – The rounded or squared front edge of the tread that improves safety and aesthetics. Some pre-made treads have built-in nosing.

Advantages of Pre-Made Engineered Hardwood Stair Sets

Time-Saving Installation – Pre-cut to standard sizes, reducing the need for on-site modifications.
Durable & Stable – Resists warping, expanding, or contracting due to humidity changes.
Matches Flooring – Often available in the same finishes as engineered hardwood floors.
Cost-Effective – More affordable than solid hardwood but looks nearly identical.
Variety of Styles – Available in different wood species, finishes, and textures.
